We rely on donations from friends and supporters to continue our work. The more money we can raise, the more good work we can do and the more people we can help.

I AM A FULHAM GOOD NEIGHBOUR

Does your business come across older people who appear lonely/isolated or maybe in need of support? If so, we would like to invite you to become a Fulham Good Neighbour. The aim of the campaign is to ensure that all local older people in need are supported appropriately. We invite local business to do any or all of the following:

- display I AM A FULHAM GOOD NEIGHBOUR sticker at your front door;

- pass on our contact details to anyone who could benefit from support (e.g. by passing on our leaflet);

- promote your discounted goods/services via our newsletter read every month by over 800 local people;

- have our collection box on your premises.

Please get in touch if you are interested in supporting us with this initiative.

Gift in Will

This is another very important way in which, if you have not already done so, you can support our future work and have a lasting impact on local residents for many years to come. Anything you might leave to Fulham Good Neighbour Service in your will would be added to a designated Endowment Fund. Interest from the money placed in the fund is being utilised for ongoing work at the charity while the fund value will continue to grow over a number of decades. In this way, we will become financially self-sustainable so that future generations of Fulham residents can continue to benefit from our charitable work.

If you have already left us a gift in your will, thank you. We hope that you will let us know so that we can understand your wishes and thank you for your generosity.

By cheque

Send us a cheque, payable to Fulham Good Neighbour Service – see contact details. Please also download and complete a Charity Gift Aid Declaration and send it with your cheque.

If you include your name and address, we’ll send you a receipt and thank you letter.

By shopping!

Give As You Live - This is another clever way of raising money for us when you shop online. All the big retailers are signed up – and because it’s the stores who donate, it adds nothing to the price of the shopping. Please try it here.

If you are shopping by Amazon - please shop via https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ - and select us as your chosen charity. Amazon will then donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to us.

Regular donations

If you would like to set up a standing order to donate to us regularly, please ask us for our bank account details. We will acknowledge all donations with a receipt and thank you letter.

Gift Aid

The scheme allows us to claim back tax on donations made by UK taxpayers and this is equivalent to an extra 25% on your donation.

If you are sending us a cheque, please complete and return a Charity Gift Aid Declaration to allow us to claim.

If you are donating online or by text message, then Virgin Money Giving or JustTextGiving will reclaim Gift Aid and pay it to us.

Online

Go to our Virgin Money Giving page and click on ‘Make a donation’ or ‘Make a monthly donation’. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or PayPal. Virgin Money Giving will charge a 2% transaction fee to cover their costs and there is a processing fee for cards charged by PayPal of 1.45-1.6%.
