Trustees Needed

The organisation has four paid members of staff and its own premises and is planning to develop new projects.

A dedicated board exists but wishes to add to its numbers. Commitment, the ability to learn, and an interest in the charity’s area of work is essential. Experience of charity trusteeship, management, or employment law, or working with older people would be an advantage but is not a must.

We are particularly looking for local Fulham residents living with disabilities, young people and those from BME backgrounds.

This is an unpaid position, but travel expenses can be met. Job description and application pack available, please contact us with any questions or to request a form.

Student Placements

If you are a Social Work or Health and Social Care Student and would like to talk about arranging a placement with us as part of your course, please contact us on 020 7385 8850.

Online

Go to our Virgin Money Giving page and click on ‘Make a donation’ or ‘Make a monthly donation’. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or PayPal. Virgin Money Giving will charge a 2% transaction fee to cover their costs and there is a processing fee for cards and PayPal of 1.45-1.6%.

By cheque

Send us a cheque, payable to Fulham Good Neighbour Service – see contact details. Please also download and complete a Charity Gift Aid Declaration and send it with your cheque.

If you include your name and address, we’ll send you a thank you letter.

By shopping!

This is another clever way of raising money for us when you shop online. All the big retailers are signed up – and because it’s the stores who donate, it adds nothing to the price of the shopping.

Please try it here.

PRUDENTIAL RIDE LONDON-SURREY 100

Are you a keen cyclist ready for a challenge? If so, please consider cycling and fundraising for us as part for the Prudential 100 London Surrey Ride in 2018 or 2019

Regular donations and legacies

If you would like to set up a standing order to donate to us regularly, please ask us for our bank account details.

Please consider making a bequest to Fulham Good Neighbours in your will. Remember to quote our full name, address and charity number – 1113752.

Gift Aid

The scheme allows us to claim back tax on donations made by UK taxpayers and this is equivalent to an extra 25% on your donation.

If you are sending us a cheque, please complete and return a Charity Gift Aid Declaration to allow us to claim.

If you are donating online or by text message, then Virgin Money Giving or JustTextGiving will reclaim Gift Aid and pay it to us.
