2. Befriending

3. Gardening

Gardening clearances done by our gardener and Adopt a Garden Scheme where volunteers look after a garden close to them on a regular basis.

This project serves those local older and disabled residents who:

  • are unable to clear gardens by themselves;
  • have no one else to ask for this help;
  • are unable to pay for this service.

4. Decorating

This project serves those local older and disabled residents who:

  • are unable to decorate by themselves;
  • have no one else to ask for this help;
  • are unable to pay for this service.                                                      We can spend approx. 2-3 days on each decorating task, including time need to obtain materials. This project is oversubscribed and we can only help when the area is in dire state of disrepair. If you think this applies to you please fill in the Decorating Service Declaration and contact us with information about what needs doing on 020 7385 8850

5. Connections for the 4th Generation

This new project is designed to:

  • Increase social inclusion by linking individuals with social groups, activities and other support services such as befriending and transport assistance.
  • Help prevent future unplanned hospital admissions.

This project is open to Fulham residents aged 85 years and older who have recently been discharged home from Charing Cross Hospital.

We are working with the British Red Cross “Next Steps” programme to identify people who may benefit from this project.

6. Social Clubs:

a) Fulham Lunch Club

Every Wednesday between 1PM and 4PM at Rosaline Hall, 70 Rosaline Road, London, SW6 7QT

This club is very popular and we encourage any new people to consider joining other groups we run.

A typical afternoon has the following programme:

13:00 Lunch (Soup, Bread)

14:00 Guest Speaker or Performer

15:00 Tea and Cake

b) Silver Club at The Hollywood Arms

every first Tuesday of the month, we meet at Hollywood Arms, 45 Hollywood Road, London, SW10 9HX. http://www.hollywoodarmschelsea.com/

d) Art Group for over 60 year olds

We meet every Tuesday between 11:00 and 12:00 at Rosaline Hall, 70 Rosaline Road, London, SW6 7QT. We welcome those who love to admire and talk about art but also those who like to experiment and create their own work. e) Shared Reading Group for over 60 year olds

We meet every Thursday between 11:00 and 12:30 at Rosaline Hall, 70 Rosaline Road, London, SW6 7QT. We welcome all those who love books and want to read together, share their thoughts and meet like minded people. Further details are under reading-group-poster

f) Chair Based Exercise Group for over 60 year olds

From 1st June 2017 the class takes place every Thursday between 3PM and 4PM at Rosaline Hall, 70 Rosaline Road, London, SW6 7QT. The exercises are adjusted to the needs of each participant. Further details under  Chair Based Exercise Group Poster

g) Fulham Carers

A friendly group for local older carers and ex-carers taking place every Wednesday between 10:00AM and 12:00PM at Rosaline Hall, 70 Rosaline Road, London, SW6 7QT.
